How does WhatsApp driver authentication work?
The driver messages your WhatsApp number, verifies once, picks the vehicle they are authorised for and, if you want it, taps a link that matches their phone's location to the tracker. Only then does the vehicle release. It replaces a physical driver tag — nothing extra to carry.
What is driver scoring, and why per driver?
Every speeding, harsh-braking or harsh-cornering event is attributed to whoever was identified driving — by beacon or by authentication — and added up per driver, per 100 km. You get a real score and risk category for each person, not just a number for each vehicle.
Can the vehicle be immobilised if an unauthorised driver starts it?
Yes, on relay-fitted vehicles. If it is started with no authorised driver, it is shut down at the next safe standstill — never while moving. Without a relay you still get an instant unauthorised-use alert on WhatsApp and email.
